ELECTRICAL - PERFECT YOUR LUMEN OUTPUT

Nexus LED – lighting your way one lumen at a time

“Agrinet is proud to announce the addition of the new Nexus LED lighting range which will officially be launched at the 2015 Agrinet Trade Show and will be available from the end of August,” says Morné Jacobs, Product Manager: Electrical.

“The Nexus LED range is not the cheapest in the market, but this was a strategic decision. The aim and specifications of the range rather focus on customer satisfaction. We want to help shift the negative perception towards LED lights created by cheap low Watt, low lumen LED’s that didn’t meet the needs of the end-user. Therefore extensive research and development have been done over the past two years to find the perfect balance between high lumen output, low Watt usage and affordability.”

Nexus LED’s are manufactured with the latest technology in LED chipsets, material and drivers to ensure high lumens per Watt, great colour rendering and better heat dissipation that increases the lifespan of the globes. Nexus LED’s come with a 5-year warranty. The LED’s can replace any existing traditional lights. Agrinet aims to encourage consumers to purchase LED’s based on the lumen output of the globe rather than the Wattage. The packaging has been designed to draw attention as well as communicate only the most important information required by the consumer to make an educated decision and specifically emphasises LUMENS over Watt.

“Getting this right will ensure that consumers are satisfied with the performance of the product and assist with building brand preference,” said Morné.

FIRST THINK LUMENS THEN WATT:

-      The higher the lumens the brighter the light.

-      WATT = Electricity Usage

-      LOW WATTS = Energy and cost saving

REMEMBER

Globes with the same wattage can have different lumen outputs!

Nexus LED’s strike a balance between high lumen output, low watt usage and affordability.
