Step 2: Pre-Approval

All new account applications—whether for credit or cash—are subject to a credit check.
An Agrinet representative will contact you during this process to schedule an in-person meeting. This meeting is an opportunity to introduce you to Agrinet’s offerings, explain our services and operational processes, and discuss how we can best support your business for long-term success.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of accounts does Agrinet offer?

Agrinet offers 30-day credit account facility or COD cash account facility options to clients. Both account facilities are subject to pre-approval & credit checks.

 

What are the minimum requirements to have an account with Agrinet?

Agrinet does not sell to the public, only to registered businesses in Southern Africa.In order to qualify for deliveries by our Agrinet fleet, the minimum order amount of R 5 000 per order applies. To arrange for courier collection at our Samrand or Bellville Facility, a minimum order amount of R 1 000 will apply.

A minimum order of R 1 000 per month is required to keep the account active. After 6 months of inactivity, the account will be made dormant and will need to be activated again.

 

How long does it take before I can buy?

Agrinet conducts credit checks and in-person visits as part of the account approval process. Credit checks can take between 5-10 Working days as Agrinet uses a third party for this service. The credit check timeframe is also dependent on whether all information & documentation submitted is complete. Therefore, to prevent unnecessary delays, please ensure all documents requested on the application form are submitted.

Visits to stores in close-lying locations to our Samrand and Bellville facilities should happen within 2 - 5 Working Days of requesting to open an account. Stores in outlying areas will be visited as soon as possible.

 

What if I just want to make a once-off Bulk Purchase?

Agrinet caters for once-off bulk purchase requests on a case to case basis.
